I'm Lisanne Sanders (1989), a born and raised Dutch redhead whose north recently turned to growth. Following my fascination and passion for dance, I specialized myself in the history, analysis and philosophy of performing arts (MA, Utrecht University). Soon I fell in love with subject evolving the relationships between technology, society and art. But how could I tribute to that field, or any field for that matter? I felt I missed hard skills and a certain mind set to really make a difference. And that's when it hit me: I need to become data-driven. This is why I applied for a talent program designed by The Talent Institute (BSSA) to become a full-stack growth hacker. Starting November 2016 I will have become a digital marketeer with a strong background in the creative and cultural sector.
My growth hacking skill set? Although I know for sure, I will never stop learning, these are my main buzzwords: Lean methodology, digital marketing strategies, HTML/CSS/JS, copy, branding, experiment design, e-mail marketing, social media, A/B testing, UX and Google Analytics.

What would it be like to celebrate Christmas and NYE in a sunny environment? I got my answer: amazing! Mid November 2015 I went on my first solo backpack trip outside of Europe. Ever. I started in Bangkok, Thailand and travelled over land to Ho Chi Minh, all the way up to Hanoi, Vietnam. Flew back to Bangkok, to then flew over to mystical Myanmar and crossed off the main sights in just 10 days (I wished I could've stayed longer). Right in time to visit Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, for a luminous NYE. The last two weeks I spent in relaxation on the islands Koh Tao and Koh Phangan, where I got my PADI Open Water Diver certificate.
Operationally, administratively and commercially responsible for Offices For You Hilversum. Offices For You is a business centre focused on renting office space and virtual memberships. By means of process optimization, in-house marketing efforts and focus on customer satisfaction instead of customer expansion, I realized a variable revenue increase of 125% for this location in four months. I also worked on corporate communications and sought for new publicity strategies. With the new office in the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium in sight, I wrote the texts for the new website, press releases and advertorials that were published online and in print.

SPRING Performing Arts Festival programs innovative, edgy performances made by (inter)national choreographers and theatre directors. I coordinated the PR texts and images of creators and companies for marketing purposes. I also set out quick marketing campaigns on blogs, websites and in weekly / monthly magazines, and designed the first day programs based on the existing design of the website.

Here I specialized myself as a scholar and critical thinker on digital dance. This study teached me to be critical, how to shape my perspective on the historical, current and future developments within culture and media.
